I found out that my original reservation went through their website being misleading that they were Hilton Hotel Reservations. I found Hampton Inn Poplar and called the number on the website. more than the motel would have charged us directly. First seen on January 6, 2018, They got me for $781. I can't believe this is possible. This is clearly deceptive to LaQuinta Inns and its customers. The page displayed was identical to the Hilton web page. I asked. When I made the reservation, it showed the charge at $75 for the room plus additional $5.00+ tax charge. Same thing happened to me with doubletree hotel. First time ever going online to book hotels and it will definitely be my last. Only to find out later, that this was a fraud. If CCI knew this was coming I can see why they might not complete the reservation for you. The hotel charge was $130.32< CCI charged $187.68. They promise a great rate then charge one's card and then slap a hug fee (often same cost of rooms). This people are crooks that need to be put out of business. The stay was supposed to be at Americas Best Inn and Suites Macon. They are a crap company, and there are many others out there as well. Very slick as the site looked like the Embassy Suites site. Ask the hotel to give you a room in the same or better category. The people working at this company made a reservation for me in the WRONG area of the state of Ca. I did get thru and talked to someone at CCI and they said it's non refundable. The hotel says they can't help me and CCI says they won't entertain a refund without the hotel calling them. they transferred me to another person. I thought we were talking to hotel directly.
